Alba was silent as he spoke about how he had indeed asked the air to cooperate, but some times it just liked to watch him squirm. What kind of element would do that to their elemental? Perhaps he wasn't asking them properly. She was half tempted to have him demonstrate how he would speak to the air when he began to tell her how it made him feel, and how he couldn't have explained it to the pack, or the parents. She nodded her crown in understanding. There really wasn't anything he could do in that aspect, but then again, that's expected with his situation. It was a dreadful one to be in, but it was still a very real one at that. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to carry the burden of guilt around with you everywhere you went. She had never committed murder - on accident or other wise - so she didn't fully understand what it felt like. However, she did blame herself for her mothers death. On some days it became too much for her to handle, and she would die a little more on the inside. She was bottling all her emotions up for fear of what her element would do if it saw her upset.
A chill ran up her spine, but she shook it off as she realized she had missed the last part of what he had said. How awfully rude that was of her! She was pretty sure she caught the gist of what was going on though, and slowly took a few steps forward. She was never the kind to comfort some one else, but he seemed as if he needed it. In a friendly manner - it was a pack custom - she reached out to touch the tip of her nose to his. If he allowed her, her touch would only linger there for but a few moments before she would withdraw. "I know there is nothing I can say to make it better, but I would like you to know that their opinions don't matter because they don't know what really happened. Only you do. I only just met you, and I can see your heart. You're a good wolf, with a loyal heart. From what I can tell, you are very carrying, and wouldn't hurt a living soul unless provoked to do other wise."
As she spoke, she rolled back into her haunches, and gazed upon his thoughtfully. She wasn't sure what else there was she could say when she remembered he had spoken about their alpha and Alba getting along. She nodded her crown slightly, and replied "I would very much like to get to know Castor, she seems to a great leader. That's just what a pack needs - an alpha with her head on straight." She nodded her crown once more, this time approvingly.
