Like that of a pissed off brother.
The brute stalked up to the top of the announcement rock where the meetings would be called normally, and threw his red crown back. His eerie call was for one wolf, and one wolf only. His insides were rolling with turmoil. What the hell was his brother doing!? He snarled, and leaped from the rock. As he landed, electricity flashed from his bodice. It was quite by accident, but the little waves of electricity traveled across the ground, and dissipated into the grass, leaves, and trees that lay strewn about the area. The alpha paced the meeting place, his columns moving his muscled form around in the circle, his razor-like talons raking grooves into the soft soil. His column that was clad with the black flames that twisted up to his shoulder seemed to always be leading the rest of them. What was his brother thinking! Messing around with a female wolf. And a loner for that matter! Deimos would not be nearly as pissed off as he was if it had been a Erebus female.
It was a loner though! In the pack lands? Or near them? He hadn't quite caught that part of the females story, but he was pissed. Not only that, but he hadn't informed Deimos himself of the escaped female. His insides were churning from the lack of control he felt, and the way his brother was acting. Over a fucking female? The darkness inside him began to swell, and smoke could be seen traveling out of his nostrils. He was about to go fucking dragon up in here. He tossed his crown back once more, and howled again, this time demanding his brother meet him here. As he howled, the flames shot up from his inner being - quite by accident - shot up into the sky as if it was a beacon until him. The red brute then lowered himself into a stance. He already knew what was coming between them. The were going to scrimmage. It was dangerous because Deimos was open with his anger. For all he knew, he'd wake up in the morning in the heavens looking down upon the earth. That's just how sneaky Alec could be.

Alec had heard his brother the first time, and was already close by, but when he heard it again it was clear his brother wasn't exactly in the right mind. Alec knew that his brother was a attack first, ask questions later man. So there would be a fight ensuing, but, it would be nice to release his anger. After all, things were going slower and slower with Kiana, he wished he could go faster and be done with her. The only one he wished to favor for his brother, it sounded rather soft, but it was the truth. And Alec knew Deimos felt the same way, and they simply did not tell no one else, dare their ears be ripped from their skulls. Yes Alec was a feared man, even by his brother, as his eyes glowing with soft pride could clearly be seen through the ashes of the shrub as the announcement rock came into view. Alec looked calm as ever, his muscles rippled against himself as he smiled. Looking straight as his brother silently coming closer but stopped, quiet a few feet away. Alec was ready to light on fire at his command.
"Dear brother, why does your voice hold such urgency, are you angry with me for some reason?" Alec asked, flicking his head back. His eyes perfectly align with his angry brothers. Why, had he heard about Kiana from someone, only three wolves had seen her, and two witnessed his account with her. Which was Kai, and Irena. Perhaps Irena, that wench had told him. Well Kiana was a play toy, his favorite at the moment until he lost interest in her, if she did not bear him a son. After all, he wanted a suitable heir to his throne, he was sure his brother wanted a good son for his throne as well. Alec did not want the kingdom to fall as soon as they died and joined the heavens with their god. Where they could eventually find out what happened to their father. Their dear father.

"Dear brother, why does your voice hold such urgency, are you angry with me for some reason?"
It had only been seconds later when Deimos spun on his heels, and turned to face his brother. His head was lowered slightly, the wound on the side of his neck still fresh, but he wasn't thinking about that. A deep growl rumbled through his chest. "A little birdy told me today that you are frolicking around with a female. And heaven forbid it be a fucking loner female! You also neglected to let me know that a lovely dove would be coming to my den on punishment trial. Brother, why is your head so far up your ass!" He snarled, no longer able to contain himself. He wasn't aiming to harm his brother - too much, any how - he was just so pissed off. He threw himself at Alec, neglecting to use his fire simply because he did not wish to electrify his brother to a black crisp. His paw slashed out, and he swung it for Alec's shoulder, making sure he'd miss any major blood vessels just in case Alec was not quick enough to move.

Alec almost laughed, then again a scoff escaped his throat. "E-Excuse me, Frolicking with a female? I would never do such a thing, at least I don't go around letting them suck on my neck like some sort of love bite." He said noting the bite marks on his brothers neck. Obviously from Irena, he smelt her on him, he did not like that girl. Then when his brother charged at him in a sudden alarm Alec lit his entire body on fire. Red and orange flames engulfed him as he came up to the side, and ran into a remaining female slave who had been lingering. She burst into flames and dropped to the floor, a crisp. As he looked at her. "Oops, shouldn't have been standing in my way." He was still on fire as he looked up at Deimos. "I'm only interested in her because she looks good, healthy, loners tend to have higher chance of birthing sons. AND she's a water wolf, meaning the males would have the fire element over the water element unlike if we were to mate with a earth wolf. Honestly brother, do you think I'd favor a female over you." Alec charged forward like a snake, lowering his flame so he didn't spontaneously combustion his brother like the now dead slave on the ground.

The lord seemed to become overly aware of the "love bite" on his neck, and he snarled, lowering his head in a defensive position as his brother spoke. He did have a point. Loner wolves did have a higher birthing rate. The wolf snarled though, his rage too great for him to let go of it that quickly. The darkness that was inside of him was starting to take over his sight, over his movements, over his words. "But you did chose a female over me. And come on now. I only let her suck on my life blood because she's a Twun. She's a powerful enemy to have, but a even more powerful ally. Besides, I think she's got something for me. Ever since you sent her to my cave, that is." He said dryly, his optics narrowing dangerously on the female that was burned to a crisp. Stupid bitch. When you saw the brothers fighting, you would be wise to turn tail and run the hell away. As his brother charged him, he merely stood his ground, and opened his mouth. Fire burst forth from the very depths of him, and entered the atmosphere around them. Yet, he purposely missed his brother, making sure it was shy by only a few inches of taking his head off, yet not even any fur would be singed unless his brother moved to make it so.

Alec came right up close to his brother as the fire hit his cheek, he was not bleeding as he purposely let it singe through his beautiful fur, only for his brother, only for his brother would he purposely bleed. Alec's face came to meet his brothers, looking him straight in the eye as the blood welled and fell onto the ground. His muscles strained as he looked lustfully at Deimos. His breathing became slow as the king kept his composure, he was not afraid of his brother. Nor was he afraid to bleed for his brother. "Deimos......I would never choose a female over you, don't you understand that. And yet you let a female, let alone a Twun feed on your blood sworn by our pathetic missing father? I did not choose her, over you. I want to simply secure our haven's future, because what is it worth that we leave everything in the dust. It's not like we can let Kai take over. He's far too soft. Deimos, you are the only one I choose, the only one I swore to bleed for, for if another does so, we are destined to destroy them." Alec's voice was soft, it was so that others would not hear. The blood that ran down his cheek stung. As his purple eyes searched for signs of other life, he wasn't ever going to let anyone watch him like this. Alec returned his gaze to Deimos.

Alec hadn't touched Deimos, but as he saw the blood running down his brother's face he froze. His optics were not locked with his brother's optics at first, they were following the path of the blood as it flowed freely from the slice on his face. That was when he looked into his brother's eyes, and listened. The darkness that had been clouding his mind had all but vanished for the time being. Tears were welling up in the brutes eyes, but he did not let them shed. As his brother talked, it began to make sense. No, they could not let Kai have the lands. He was far too soft. As soon as his brother finished his speech, he broke eye contact to watch the blood slowly drip to the ground. He blinked a few times before bowing his head to his brother, and taking a step back away from him, clearly disengaging him. "You are right, brother. I did let a Twun feed from it. It came out of no where. It was a sudden need to own her... I think it might have been father trying to teach me a lesson. Trying to teach me how to care for some one else other than you, and myself. He had been like us, but he had also been the protector of the pack. We can do more. And as for you and this female... be careful. What is you're plan to do with her, exactly?"

Alec panted a little his breathing becoming harder as he looked at his brother with a smile. He had already used his fire powers today twice his energy was running out. "Relax brother, once I am done with her, she will be rid of. If she pleases me perhaps I'll let her live, maybe not. It depends on when her breeding season is." He spoke, as he sat down trying to situate himself. "I simply have my ways to pick favorites and make them like me, you know that. And a loner is the perfect target for they know nothing about me." Alec's vision began to blur. As he shook and felt the earth under him coming to meet his face. "I'm afraid, I'm at my limit for the day" Alec sank into the darkness. Fainting from all the energy he had used.

He knew his ways of picking favorites, and snaring the female in. He would bad mouth Deimos because he was the more aggressive one, and win the female over on his side, feigning to be the innocent brother. That thought got a grin out of him. That was when he saw Alec swaying, and he instantly got to his paws once more, his mood instantly turning sour once more. "Brother?" His brother said something about using too much of his power, and then fell over on his face. Deimos was by his side in moments, concern written all over his features. He looked around, his optics wild. He allowed the concern to be wiped from his face, but the urgency didn't leave his voice. "I need a healer out here, pronto! Now!" He yelled out into the darkness. He knew there was some one, anyone out there. He returned to his brother, and nosed his neck just to make sure there was still life running through his veins. You could never be too sure.

A dark colored female was instantly on her toes towards the king. One of the wiser healers, who glanced at Deimos for his permission first before approaching the king. Her nose mildly touching him, as she examined him carefully. Turning towards Deimos. "Take him to his den for rest, a few minutes he'll be fine, just don't let him use any more of his spells." She declared. Though she vanished just as quick because she didn't want to get in trouble, or burned to a crisp for that manner.

The brute had nodded to the female as she glanced at him asking for permission. As she gave him instructions he nodded swiftly, and quickly moved toward his brother. Carefully, he nudged his body so he could squeeze his body in-between the ground, and his brother, and wiggled about until Alec was situated upon his back. Grunting gently with the effort - at least he knew Alec was eating well - he began the long trek back to the den's. He wasn't generally a caring wolf, and would never do this for another, but his brother was his brother. He loved his brother. He would do anything for him. As he entered his brothers den he lowered himself down onto his knees, and gently lay his brother on the ground. His muscles were aching for the trek here was not a easy one. It had been mostly uphill, and careful maneuvering to make sure his brother didn't slide off of his sleek back. He stood guard next to Alec, an unmovable sentry protecting his brother. He stared out into the darkness, daring any one to try and touch them.

It wasn't only fifteen minutes or so later had Alec woken up. His purple eyes fluttered open, but he didn't move. He didn't jolt up, he simply looked around. He was in their den, his brother's scent close to him. Obviously had been standing guard the entire time. The King did not rise, if anything he only shut his eyes again, but Deimos had probably already noticed he had come to. So Alec spoke. "So a Twun huh...." Alec said, in a small whisper. They were in their private den, small talk was normal, and maybe this would be the time for them to catch up. Well for certain Alec had some stories to tell, he didn't share them often if anything, it would be about Kiana. Alec was also curious as to why his brother had chosen a Twun.
"We are going to have some screwed up kids brother." Alec chuckled a little bit. It was true, but their children would probably be the most excellent heirs to their thrones. After all, with this being the mating season this time around, it would be a good thing for them. Alec enjoyed the thought of raising children. And of killing the daughters to put the females in their place, he didn't think that to be weird, even if others did. Besides, the females weren't exactly useful unless they were strong enough to survive, if they decided life was worth living.

Indeed, Deimos had noticed when his brother came too, but he didn't feel the need to say anything. He was going to let him rest. That is, until his brother spoke to him softly. An audit flicked to rest in the direction of his brother, and the brute listened to what he had to say. "So a Twun huh...." Yes. A Twun, and he didn't know why he had chosen her. Something inside of him had just seemed drawn to her. There had been a need to own her, a need to make her his, and so he acted on it. He turned to face his brother, his multi hued gaze watching him carefully for a few moments. It was clear that he was searching for the right words to say. The right way to to explain his motive. He could not find the right words, his brother was always better with words than he. He had always been the brute, the aggressive one. If his father needed something done publicly he would employ Deimos to strike the fear of the Gods into each and every soul that inhabited in the lands of Erebus.
"Aye, brother. A Twun. I just had this need to take her. To own her. I can't explain it. I acted on impulse." He muttered softly, and turned 180 degrees to face his brother head on. "We are going to have some screwed up kids brother." A chuckle vibrated up the red wolves vocal cord, and softly bounced about the small cave. Indeed, they would have some pretty screwed up kids, but there would be no better successor their thrones. He nodded his head before rolling back into his haunches, and looked at his brother thoughtfully. "In all honesty, my thought process was 'She's a Twun. Our father was responsible for her whole families death. She would be a powerful enemy to have, and therefore, we should kill her.' But then she told me why she wanted to leave, and a whole new idea came into mind. 'Why not make her my consort? She would be one hell of a enemy, but she would be an even better ally.' Think of it brother... Twun's may be blood suckers, but they are also fierce, and effective warriors - as long as they don't try to kill our own troops."

Alec laughed a little bit. Of course that was his brother alright, jump first ask questions later. Though there was still every sense of worry to as what Deimos was doing to himself. Alec didn't like the thought of anyone touching his brother, specially a female, who was sucking the life energy out of him. Even though he had made Irena an ally, it meant she had his spells, or at least one. Alec wasn't sure how drinking blood worked for those creatures. The male sighed and got up, only splaying out on his stomach as he looked at Deimos. "I only say this with the most sincere meaning Deimos. Be careful. You don't know anything about her. After all, being a twun her second form will be one scary son of a bitch, don't piss her off." Alec narrowed his eyes at him. He wasn't really joking about that much. He had only heard rumors of what Twun's second forms looked like, male counterparts regardless of their born gender.
Alec shook his head to release any debris that had been stuck inside of his fur. His red fur hard to see in the dark, though his eyes clearly shining. "Is she being kept as a hunter? If the others see you have favored her, then she is more at risk at a lower rank. Regardless of being female. She is now of the fire element, let alone your spells." Alec said. He wasn't suggesting promoting her higher, that was up to Deimos, he was just saying it'd be a bit dangerous, not just for her but for him as well. Alec wouldn't let anyone else touch Deimos, and if his anger got any worse, Erebus would be seeing dark days.

To be quite honest with you, Deimos was quite curious to see what her other side was. It would be a terrifying experience, but one that would be quite exciting as well. Deimos watched as his brother stretched out, and then expressed his concern for the he-wolf. Yes, while it was true that he didn't know anything about her, it was also true that he knew enough to know that she had been around back when their father was ruler. There had to be something about her to gain the kings favor - or in other words, gain the great kings grace to still be walking, and breathing today. He nodded his crown, and responded "Why, of course. I wouldn't intentionally piss her off, my dear brother. Do you think you are the only one who can smooth talk when he wants to? Dear brother, I have the capability to, just not the want to. After all, who would want to piss off a Twun and see their other side? Not I. No, I will be extremely careful with this one..." He murmured. His brother needed to be careful, as well.
If the pack saw him messing around with a loner who knew what would happen to his brother? They might start thinking that he went soft. Deimos narrowed his gaze on his brother. He didn't go soft, did he? That was when his brother spoke about it being dangerous for her to remain a hunter, and also be his pet. He snorted, and replied "Ah, yes. And what do you suppose I do? Promote her, and then make every female in the whole damn pack think they can be promoted too? What if they all try winning my favor? Brother, there would be more dead bodies than on a battle field! Besides," He spoke, an eyebrow raising at his brother. "You might do well to keep this female that is not of the pack a secret from the pack. My situation can cause an uproar, but so can your own." He muttered, his multi hued gaze flitting away from his brother to glance upon the pack lands. They were very prideful despite their rank. They were in the most powerful nation in the lands. It was something to be proud of, even if you were a female.
