Forever Changed (Deimos)

The brute tilted his head to the side as the disgusting creature lowered his head to smell the already dead, rotting flesh, and then charged off in the wrong direction. The next thing Deimos knew, it was sinking it's ghastly fangs into a tree. What the hell was wrong with it? It fell back onto it's back, and then charged once more toward the wolves - only Deimos noticed it was going straight for his nephew. A need to protect him overwhelmed him, but in the end, logic won over. He took a step back, disengaging the creature for now. "Kai, this is it! Your test. If you win, you live. If you lose, you die." He shouted to his nephew. He was hoping he would engage the creature in battle. He also hoped Kai wouldn't call his bluff. If he saw his nephew go down he would surely save him. He was family. Annoying family, but family all the same.

The, strange disgusting creature charged in the wrong direction, sinking it's teeth in a tree. Stupid beast. Then, the next thing he knew it was charging over to Kai.

"Kai, this is it! Your test. If you win, you live. If you lose, you die." his uncle shouted.

Kai, nodded and lit a flame, aiming it straight at the creature. Kai, tried to concentrate "Focus" he thought. Kai, looked at the ugly beast, he created a think layer of fire work and tried his best to aim it at the creature, in the face hopefully. Kai, went forwards, ears flattened and eyes full of determination. He will defeat this beast and if he didn't at least he made his uncles proud.

The Caliph bared his teeth.

[THE WILD]

The rucarin growled as the older wolf called to the younger wolf, and skidded to a halt to glare at it. As the fireball hit his flank, he let out a small yelp, and raced towards the younger wolf, inspecting his weak points by moving in a semicircle around him. Constantly growling, saliva and venom hit the ground, mixing in with the dirt. He suddenly dashed towards the young wolf's shoulder, pushing slightly off the ground as the rucarin aimed for his fangs to penetrate the young wolf's skin.

This was it. Kai had to prove to himself and to his uncles. He snarled and jumped, lightly he was becoming tired, he was losing energy. Kai, shuffled him paws, he then tried Flame body. Sparks, of fire were forming on his body. Then, soon there was a red, hot fire that won on Kai's whole body. Kai, would do this at will no matter what mood he was in. This, didn't affect Kai.

His, hazel eyes that showed the need to kill, stared at the sickening creature. He, used his spell, Flame Comet. A fire comet was formed he threw it at the wolf. He charged at the wolf, his canines, soon had fire on them he growled. Fire, came out from his mouth it looked as if he was breathing fire which he was.

The boy was using his energy much too fast. The older wolf growled in frustration at the boy. If he didn't watch it he would pass out much too soon. It was not his wish to watch his nephew fall to this feral wolf, but would he have any choice? He watched as his nephew burst into flames, and shot forward toward the feral animal. His fangs were wide open, his optics shining with the need to kill it, but did he have the ability? At this point. Deimos was guessing no. Every muscle ached to join in on the battle, but he withheld, his optics shining brightly as he watched the ensuing battle.

Kai, breathed "Don't use up all of your energy." He thought. Kai, never truly mastered his spells when it came to slowing down. His, spell died down slightly, just to calm his spells. His feet went one by one slowly.
He wasn't sure if the ugly creature could even speak. Kai, was going to defeat this stupid, insane monster.
