Name: Thalassa Element: Water Element wanted: Earth Reason: She is simply curious about the Serpent, and how this works.
Oh how the fae longed to touch it- how she longed to simply place a paw in the water which lapped hungrily at a beach of pebbles, how she longed to delight in the wonder which was water. Yet, of course, Thalassa wasn't stupid, so she, like most sensible demigods and even ghosts, didn't step into the water, except on a full moon, in order to not have her limbs torn apart from her body. She did not dare to even lift it, in fear that she couldn't control it- yet that serpent on the horizon interested her so. How could it survive the waters? More importantly, what was it?
The demigod had heard tales from passing ghosts about how a wolf may gain a second element from this serpent. Thalassa was genuinely curious as to how it worked. The wolf had done her research, and she only hoped to not be cursed. Being cursed by a godly serpent didn't exactly sound fun, and the wolf didn't believe that her mother being the no longer existent goddess of water exempted her from a curse. And so she stepped on higher pebbles, staring over the raving water, took a slight breath, and began to speak.
"O Serpent of the Heavens, who lives in the water of the gods," Thalassa wasn't sure if this was actually going to work, or if she was doing this correctly. "I seek you in all your serpentine glory. If I may, I ask to see you so I may ask a request."
