Here on Carvanna Females are in heat during certain seasons, which tends to be Spring and Summer. Where as pups depending on when conceived could be born during winter or autumn. YOU ARE allowed to mate during winter or autumn, but it's a less chance of pups. So when the little side bar says no breeding, you get a different roll for pups. Pm RIV with the mating thread and she will respond accordingly.
Yes or No
Now a mating does not always mean PUPS. Sometimes it just doesn't work. There is a 50% chance of pups during mating seasons. Which means on random.org 1 or 2 will be chosen. 2=Yes 1=No. If you get a No, you have to wait half a season(two weeks) to try again.
Pup number
You can have up to 5 pups, and just like before random.org will choose it. So if you get a mating, and it sticks but only get one pup DO NOT COMPLAIN. At least you get to pick everything else.
Hybrids
When it comes to hybrids (Twun x elemental) or other species, breeding may be different. In the guide will be a cross species thread much like the races thread, which will tell you about the children. MOST though be warned, MOST hybrid Females are infertile and males will only be able to pass genes.
Everything else is chosen by parents. Looks, and genders ^^ So have fun with that. Make it interesting, if you only get one pup, feel free for plotting to have another, but it is stillborn or something.
