Character's Story-Poem

[Capricorn♑]

I was born of the element mated to death
Destined to be a queen
But that all changed one night
When fire ended that dream.

I was born to be a master
Born to walk in shadows
Send those to their fate
The mortals who crossed my path
But that lonely path called my own fate
Caught up with me
And now here I am
In all my deathly glory.

I was born to be a female
Born to stay that way
But that sad force called fate
Had to have its way.

Long ago
If you had told me of my fate
I would have sent you to the heavens
And all the glory I will never see.

There are those who long for a way to escape
A way to walk the lands forever
I was forced to escape the bane of mortals
My curse and blessing evermore.

I was sent on a task so seemingly hopeless
I fought my only help
Until the death with many faces came around
If only I could have looked at myself.

Those seeking the bane of mortals
Fell by my tooth and my claw
Yet I could not join them
Nor enjoy another life's dawn.

I spent all my life looking for me
Whether I knew it or not
And I still do
Yet it is no worry
I have forever to find myself.
