The sun filtered through a small crack within the walls of the cage he called his home. Nothing large, just a small ray. As the chains attached to himself and embedded into the wall yanked at his chest and throat. He situated himself so that he would be comfortable enough, to move just a little. His deep blue eyes watched that ray of light, as he listened to the birds outside sing. The entrance to his prison was a few feet from here, but it didn't stop from blocking his connections with the outside. For everyone was afraid of him, for everyone hated him in this world, and for that, he was rejected. His head was twisted against his body as he shifted against his collar, the Twun hybrid letting out a yawn to show his sharp and jagged teeth. With a piercing edge, the born hybrid looked almost pathetic, his small body moved up in a sitting position. As his hair fell over his face, and he listened to the birds. Closing his eyes to just listen to the sounds, this was where his life wasted away. He was thrown food, and never spoke to anyone but his savior. His savior....what a joke, what an ass at that was his Savior. Ryouta thought about everything that happened, how his patience was so thin in every situation. How he had been so called saved, and granted freedom in chains. He gave a sigh before lowered his head on his shoulders. He licked his lips in thirst when suddenly, a small woven bowl was pushed down into his prison. He approached it, trying to see who had given it to him, but the chains tugged at him. He could only stretch far enough to reach the bowl, nothing more, nothing less. As his dark purple tongue lapped up the water you could hear him splashing as he stopped and licked his chops. Back up, into his comfortable position he dropped on his side and looked up at the top of the dirt cell, where the ash covered it like stone, where he had played plenty of times with his spells here, and for what cost at nothing.
"I wish I could say that I missed you" He whispered to himself. Only the few were brave enough to venture in here to talk to the mentally unstable one year old wolf. A trump card in the Erebus world. He wasn't just a servant, he wasn't just a prisoner either. He was Alec's pet. Something that of like a son, or a companion. Ryouta was down right scary when it came to it, one minute he was sane, the next you were calling him a messed up bastard of the sort. The male was sane and melow at the moment, but how long would that last talking with someone. He had been corrupted, and nothing was a cure. He was simply that way, and would be that way until the end of his days. It made him smiled, not an insane one, a sad one. Maybe, just all those lies out there, they said they would protect him, protect him because he was insane and couldn't help himself. Was Alec, one of those people who lied? Ryouta hoped not, but he wouldn't be surprised, the ass. Everything, everyone, should burn and explode. But, he obeyed, and they cleared out his supplies whenever he returned from short trips every now and then. Servants cleaned the blood off of him from head to toe, then, he was locked up again. The same as always, as if he was royalty, under the radar somehow.
Hearts will sacrifice, it's do or die. This is the rebel love song.

The king had been out of sorts ever since his brother had left the cave, and never came back. It had been nearly a week since the last time he had seen his brother, and he was falling apart at the seams. He seemed a lot more apt to lash out at the servants with out being provoked, and has killed at least six of them out of rage. The crimson colored wolf knew that Alec going by himself would be a tragedy, and had even asked him not to go, but Alec was going to do what Alec was going to do. Yet, in doing so, he left Deimos with out any family. He broke his promise, and was no longer here, just as their father before them had. It sickened the King, but he had more love for his missing brother than he could ever muster up for his father. So, he would follow through with their plan. Maybe even get answers as to why Alec, and a bunch of others were missing. Vanished with out a trace. The king strode into the cave, and bypassed the guards that were doomed with the duty of guarding the insane quarry with a simple nod.
"Ryouta, listen to me. You may not talk to me, and that's just fine and dandy, but things have been going wrong as of late. Alec is missing." He murmured, his multi hued gaze never leaving the male that was chained in front of him. He wondered how the blunt news would affect the runt, but quickly brushed it aside. "Before he went missing we had discussed something. We had come to the conclusion that a sacrifice had to be made, and you won the prize." A sadistic smirk cross his features, and he planted himself right in front of the runt. "How does it make you feel?" He asked, wondering if he would even get an explanation. What would it hurt, any way? It would be the twerps last day on this earth, any way. He was merely here to inform him of the events to come. He would not be preforming the execution. No, the wolves responsible would be on their way shortly.

In a taste of mere seconds, could your life become into intimate danger. Does not the trust of one lead to another. It wasn't long before darkness would eat away at a mellow heart, incurable wounds that overcame the very sense of being, within the encouragement of his behavior, only to be chained, to be told that he would be protected somehow, and allowed strange guilty pleasures such as did the kings succumb to it in such a manner. This world revolved around power, and the adults were only thing controlling it. Ryouta's ears moved along with his strands of hair as he saw the coloring of the other young masters fur. The ash scent filling his nose as his deep blue beautiful eyes looked up at the king. Ryouta had, had a reason why didn't ever speak with this king. It was more or less out of fear, if anything at all respect. The boy listened, because he had nothing left to do, that was until he heard that Alec had chosen him to be sacrificed. It took a moment for it to sink into himself. Small tears formed from the corner of his eyes, it was slightly surprising how a creature like him could even feel in such a way. Falling down his cheek as his mouth opened slightly in a panting manner. He sat himself up pulling against his chains. "Nothing more then a heartless betrayal. I wish I could say I expected different." His voice rugged, trying to keep still as he took in a deep breath and sighed. Ryouta sat back against the back of his cage, and smirked, and it only turned into a small chuckle. "How does it make me feel? It surprises me a man like that can even manipulate a god forsaken son like I. Though...I could tell he treated me different from the others." He stated eyes following Deimos as his long strands of hair fell over his face. Deimos really was the better brother in a sense. Alec seemed like someone who'd betray anyone in a matter of seconds, no matter who. Except for Deimos of course. Ryouta had been forever envious, envious of the love the bond that they shares. And how he was a monster who knew nothing but rage, it was Alec who kept him under control. So when they were so alike, why did blood have to with any of it.
Ryouta stood up straight now, his small body confined by such chains he could break in a matter of seconds, but he chose to be confined to a small space. "Sir Deimos....do you understand how much the lord has shared with me?" He asked in a polite tone, his face expressionless. He was about to die, what else was there to do, but have an actual conversation with the creature he loathed in his luckiness. Ryu's soul was torn apart by the knowledge. Of the sweet blood as he was to be cooked alive. By his own foster fathers rule. He had only lived a year in his life, and it was already over. If there was one thing every wolf feared, it was death. Sooner it came, the worse it was. The more painful, to tear in such a way. And to kill him, even before he was even dead.

The over lord was amused by the tears as they welled up in the young boy's eyes. How could one so full of disarray feel sadness over the lost of his brother? After all, he had been his greatest asset. Now he was left with no one but himself, and there was a slight fear in the back of his mind that he would drive Erebus straight into the ground. The chuckle that fell from his maw didn't surprise him in the least, and neither did the smirk that crossed his young maw. Deimos mirrored the action with his own smirk, wanting to see what would happen when he did so. "Heartless betray, you say? Didn't you know from the beginning that the king has always been heartless? That the king has never given a shit about any one, but his own blood? For some one so smart, you sure fell for the greatest trick Alec could offer." He spoke, his words taunting. His optics were shining brightly with his taunts. He paced in front of the cage, his unrest coming to surface for a few moments.
The rattle of chains, and the words that fell from Ryu's maw caused the lord to stop in mid-stride, and take a curious look toward the captive. How much did Ryu know? He turned, and stalked toward the make-bars, and stuck his nose right in between them. His multi hued gaze probed deep into the gaze of Ryu, and he held it as he spoke "And what things has the good king shared with you?" He asked, his tone having lost the amused edge it had held earlier.

To have your heart give out, what did it mean. When you spoke to an innocent child who had his innocence taken away. Ryu's eyes slipped easily over the second kings body. So pure, such a defined body. Yet it was himself that Alec spoke to when his hot headed brother wouldn't listen in his anger. Ryouta, the bomb master, the one who killed, the one who ravaged. The monster of the night, and as he listened there was a glimpse in his heart that wanted to believe this time, he would not be left alone. But now he had. Ryouta knew how deeply Alec felt for his brother, how he felt responsible for his father leaving. Ryu, didn't know why Alec had such a soft side, but perhaps, it was what kept them all sane despite the urges. Unlike Ryouta, who had no guidance, and had grown savage on instincts, only mildly taking control to take what he wanted. Even when no wolf told him he was wrong, they turned their heads and ran away. The darkest hours never came in the night. Ryouta put a crazy smile on his muzzle sitting up straight, as skin stretched against his bones, the chains rattling holding the monster inside the cage. "Alec shared things with me he could not tell to you, but for good reason I guess. He has his reputation to uphold, even to you. You have no idea how lucky you are to have such a brother." Ryouta lowered his eyes, and voice. "How much more lucky than I" Maybe he was killing Ryouta so that Deimos would never figure out the secrets he upheld? That, or he must have had something bothering him, Alec was one to react on urges when he was mentally disrupt, that everyone knew well, specially Deimos should have anyway.
"Your brother was the one who saved me, in a way at least. I am simply a lost child who hates pity. Your brother might had regretted his choice now which is why he chose to sacrifice a child in the first place. I was scared, I was afraid, but when he spoke to me, it concerned the darkness. My heart could take two directions, ignorance and death, or insanity and survival. As thus did take the course he simply put the monster in the cage and grew oddly attached to it. I didn't avoid you because it was convenient for me, I was doing it for Alec," He snorted a bit, " I am insane I serve no one but him, even if he were to abandon me, I would serve in his wish and his will. He let me live, even if only a little bit longer, death is mysterious, and perhaps even wonderful. If I were told to serve another I would, but I have not. As do I know, that you are his most prized possession. He would kill himself if it meant your safety, he is a foolish man, but a very smart man. He is my king after all, no matter how foolish and stupid I may sound. That is the fate of those who fall under the higher rankings of our cruel world." Perhaps Ryouta was speaking too much. He was getting every word out, perhaps giving out his story even if Deimos didn't want to listen. Ryu wondered where Alec was now. The boy raised his eyes and looked seriously at Deimos, narrowing his eyes, he pulled back his gums. "Sir Deimos, if you ever do anything to hurt your brother where it matters most, my spirit will never forgive you and you will be haunted for the rest of your life." His expression softened. Finally he whispered, "Take care of your brother" he pulled back again, and waited for his shackles to be released, he had said what he wanted to the right person. He would die, without regrets, because he had been allowed to live a little longer after all.

Deimos was silent as the wolf in front of him spoke of his brother keeping secrets, even from him. Deimos's careful facade was cracked for a few moments as a look of surprise flushed his constitution. Was it true? Did his brother really keep secrets from him? His surprised expression stayed plastered to his face for a few moments before he smoothly lowered his gaze, and pulled his facade back together. Betrayal could not even begin to cover what his brother had done to him. Shared every thing with him, did he? Never wanted to hurt him, did he? So, where was the brave king now? Why did he leave for the party and then never come back. The king began to pace now, and was only partly listening to what Ryu had to say. It was already clear that the boy knew more about his brother than even he did. That would make sense as to why his brother would want him dead. Maybe he had a feeling that something terrible would happen to him. A cold chill washed over his entire frame.
Maybe he planned it out. Maybe he had planned on disappearing for a while now. His optics shifted instantly to Ryu. He probably knew the answers too. He was scheduled to be terminated at any moment now. No! He could not allow it. Normally, he would not have resolved to go behind his brothers back, but this was urgent. His brother was missing, and all he had to tell him where he was was this boy. So he made a split decision. "Step away from the bars." He said simply, and waited only a few seconds for the boy to heed his commands. A bright light began to form in the center of his chest that seemed to illuminate for a few moments before the power grew, and suddenly shot like a beam into the make shift bars. Shards of the rock exploded, and flung about the cave. Deimos motioned to the boys chains, and allowed a small smirk to curve his mouth. "My brother is missing, and I need your help to find him. Break free of your bounds, and help me escaped the guards." He said slyly, and turned his back to the boy.
