Something feels Strange (Nocte)

Kai ventured out from his den. Moments before, having made a servant turn into a fine crisp of dust. He was caring less about the females nowadays. The encounter with his newly-made friend Kai was interesting. Fen was a monk and was an air wolf. Kai shook Fen out of his head for some reason he can't stop thinking about that wolf. Fen had the most beautiful eyes and what a coat he has. "What the heck why am I thinking about him that way?" he muttered. Kai sighed. He ventured out and trudged deeper into the woods. He saw a small fawn it was all alone. This would be sooo easy. The fawn was calling for it's mother. It stopped as it saw Kai. The fawn ran away he ran as fast as he could deer were fast creatures. Finally, when there was nowhere else to go the fawn stopped. Kai caught a grip on the fawn's neck and killed the fawn slowly and painfully. He let go. Hazel eyes, looked at hos kill. He bent down and tore out a big chuck out of a leg. He chewed and swallowed.

The poor escapee slave was almost sucked dry. Nocte hated doing it, but there was blood, and the opportunity for new spells. Sadly, this was apparently the sister of Nocte's servants at Sensuret, and had the same spells. Now, the unconscious servant was laying limply on the floor, and Nocte grabbed her scruff, hauling her through the ash and small amount of foliage to the border. A wolf was eating a fawn's meat, and the twun looked on almost in disgust. Once, she would have attempted to take such a kill, but now, she dined on blood, and her stomach was full.

"I believe she belongs to the Erebus pack." Nocte simply said, pressing fur over the fangmarks in the slave's neck. "I'm Nocte. A twun. Who can kill you." Her tone was void of emotion, and one could only guess what she was implying. Nothing? A warning? A friendly chat? Indicating she wasn't of this pack? Perhaps all? The black twun simply waited for the other wolf to acknowledge her.

Kai licked his lips and looked up as he heard a voice. The wolf with her was unconscious. Kai nodded "Yes she belongs here." he replied. And the wolf introduced herself. Was she trying to be threatening? he knew that twuns could be dangerous but that was only in their second form. His ebony fur had a somewhat shiny glow to it in the sun. The servant, was laying limp. "I am Kai, the Caliph." Kai said.

Nocte nodded, gangs digging into the scruff, and hauled the slave over the border. She took her single paw from behind the border, and glanced at Kai, as she now knew he was called. His ebony, slightly shining fur almost looked exactly like hers. What was Calliph? Probably beta- Nocte knew that Alec and his brother, Deimos, we're the alphas, or kings. Despite being in a pack herself, Nocte had never fully understood why certain ranks had names and didn't just say the normal names known by all wolves.

"So what's your element?" Nocte asked casually, laying on her side over the border, watching Kai closely.
