SHORT DESCRIPTION In a word, he is usually described as "godly."
APPEARANCE: Bigger than the other spirits, but shorter than the gods, Eiyuu knows how to look the part he plays. He has a very shiny, black coat with an off-white belly. He has markings all over just underneath the coat, and he can change the color of them. Usually, he gives them a red tint. When he growls, it strikes fear in the hearts of mortals and spirits alike, as his teeth look much longer and sharper than they actually are, and the sound alone, like thunder, makes a wolf's hair stand on end.
When he doesn't concentrate on looking godly, his fur is gray and wispy, like Aria's.

FEARS: Punishment, being only remembered for the bad he's done rather than the good.

PERSONALITY: Eiyuu is a spirit who loves talking about his accomplishments in life and in death. He's of the kind that always has a better story than everyone else. A spirit complains about how bad their life was, Eiyuu's life was worse. No matter how great the accomplishments of another spirit in life, Eiyuu claims to have greater. It's hard to say whether or not either case is true, though, as his stories tend to change. He is responsible, and he honestly does care about what happens concerning others, though he tends to want to punish everyone harshly for any bad actions. He hates anyone who would stand up to him, particularly if he realizes they're right and he's wrong. In life, if anyone gave him any crap, he'd attack them straight out. Now that he's a spirit, he has heated arguments often and glares a lot, but does not physically confront anyone personally. He accomplished great things in life, but through sheer dumb luck. In fact, he was quite a coward, and only did things when he was forced to. Those that personally knew him in the mortal world say he's even braver as a spirit than he ever was in life.

HISTORY: Eiyuu was the greatest of the greats in life. Wolves still regale their children with his heroic deeds. Unfortunately, many of those legends are false or skewed. Eiyuu did not, in fact, fight a god and win. He only managed to face a twun and not die through sheer, dumb luck, but he never actually defeated that one, either. However, there were times he had to fight creatures that threatened pack life. He did defeat those, but only by accident. Eiyuu has been asking the gods to make him into a minor god for a long time now, but they refused him each time. After all, he didn't accomplish much on his own merits. He was a good wolf, but not a great one. Therefore, he did not truly deserve such an honor.
Now that the gods are gone, Eiyuu has acted like the gods have appointed him a minor god before their disappearance. With no one around to contest him, he's taken over the Heavens and Underworld, now passing judgement on all spirits, even though that's not his job. He flaunts his superiority whenever he can. Unfortunately for him, his judgements are usually questioned by Aria, who stands up for almost all spirits when she's at the Bridge of Life. He's since been waiting for the opportunity to punish her, and any other spirit who would get in his way, as harshly as he can. He hates to be openly defied in such a way. Fortunately, he doesn't have to be a god to spy on certain spirits, as long as he doesn't try to keep track of too many at once.
He is quite sure the gods will eventually return, and he's determined to rule over the spirit world however he pleases until they do. After all, he's keeping things running while they're gone. Surely, even though he's acting like a god, they won't punish him, or so he hopes.
MAGIC: He has not retained any of his spells from when he was alive. However, he can change his markings at will, and keep himself looking like he did in the mortal world whenever he chooses.
