The black female with the mask of silver wound her way through the tunnels with ease. Her audits twitched as they picked up the sound of the sea crashing against the walls of the caves, and ocean spray misted its way down the corridors. Her nose wrinkled in hatred for this place. She felt confined, and there was a good reason for it too. Sprouting from just behind her shoulder blades, and tucked snugly against her frame were glorious wings of the purest white. The very tips of the feathers were gold, and soft as silk. Her wings were itching to be stretched, and used, but she bloody well couldn't do so in here. The angelic wolf allowed a sweet pout to roll across her features, and sat down on her rump as if she was flustered. Perhaps there would be a male some where around here that may know the way out. Her midnight colored optics glanced about her surroundings as she assessed the situation she had gotten herself into. Her duel tails wrapped around her form, and lay on top of her paws while the tips of them tapped against the ground impatiently.
"Hello? Is any one out there?" Her sing song voice called. She displayed the perfect scene of an angelic being, but underneath all that perfection was a rotten apple. Her insides were darker than the darkest pits of hell, and that was saying something. She had been a born assassin through and through, quite literally killing her mother in the process of birth. Devil child, they had called her. She had been cast out of the pack for they feared her, and forbidden from every returning. To her salvation, her mentor had found her, and taught her the way of the dark arts. He taught her how to survive. How to be a devil in sheep's clothing. He had only been in her life for a year before one day, he disappeared. In his absence he left a dagger, an ancient one. It was strapped to a paw even now. There was an inscription that read simply "death to all". Despite it's beauty, it was every bit as lethal and deadly as it's wielder.
It was a hidden blade that could only be used by her. She simply had to summon it with her mind, and it would rush out. The female sighed softly, and allowed a sob to escape her lips. "Can any one help me?" Crystalline tears pooled into her eyes, and she let loose one more cry before falling into silence.

Summit hadn't been here for long, just narrowly escaping hunger in the hell of the underworld. The small girl gave out a heavy sigh as she rested to the side of the cave. Her delicately wrapped ankles tucked in underneath her as she rested her eyes for a few moments. The tunnels here didn't exactly fit her fancy, they reminded her of the place she died. Despite, her having a totally physical body, and not being a zombie. It was all so strange, maybe it was some sort of curse, specially the pain she felt in her ankles constantly. There was no escaping it, all she could do was ignore it at certain times. Then suddenly a loud voice startled the small girl, her golden yellow eyes shot open as she jumped at the noise. Summit sighed again as she pulled herself up to four paws, thought tuckering down to try and hide to see who had made such a noise. Her tail tucked between her legs as the naturally colored female with bandaged ankles turned the corner of one of the taverns to see something she hadn't seen in some time. A winged female.
Her fuzzy memory reminded her how common winged wolves had been in her day, but now they were not. As she watched those tears fall, she whispered in the shadows. "U-umm....hello?" her voice didn't carry very far in such a innocent and terrified voice. Summit was a terrified wolf almost constantly to admit it. She didn't seem to have an element, or at least she never told anyone. Same as the fact she was dead, everything about her was normal, but no one would be able to tell she was dead unless she told them up front. She required sleep, food, water like all other livings things, but she was still...in fact very old even though she didn't look it.

The sound of timid paw steps reached her audits. Vaerminas turned her refined crown in hopes to see some one that could help her escape this person, but instead found a female that was as timid as she was pretending to be. On the inside her blood boiled, and the darkness closed in like a womb on her mind. Digging delicately, she decided she would keep the ruse up for a while longer. There was no reason for her to reveal her true self yet. So, the angelic half of her kept control of her body, and extinguished the dark half for the time being. The tears quickly died up as words reached her ear canals. Allowing a smile to cross her features she stood up, and slowly strode toward the other female. "Just what I needed, some company." She said pleasantly enough, and dipped her crown to complete her greeting. The smile on her face was genuine, as was her tone. "You needn't be so timid around me, however, I do understand that the tunnels are a nerve wrecking place. My name is Vae. She introduced herself, not bothering in a giving her full name. It would do her no good to say that her name was VaerminasVaerminas, which translated in Latin to mean darkness, or nightmare. The masked female cocked her crown to the side, then asked "May I inquire your name?"

Summit raised her head and flicked her ears as she watched the ladies movements. A horrible scent filled her nose, a conflicted one at that. Her strange powers had to amount to something, that including the possibility of soul sight, which was yet to be told to others. She raised her head and looked off to the side, Summit knew her way in these caves like the backs of her paws, she wasn't lost herself, but now she had to deal with confronting with others, she didn't know how to handle that. Flicking her tail out she let out a soft yawn and blinked her eyes, the beautifully colored female stood out a little more, but she was definitely small in size. Looking to only just turned two years of age. Hardly long enough to live her own life. Despite having such a strange physical body, in her condition of eternal pain. After all....she had died in the Tenshin Ruins. And somehow, had been the only spirit ever to escape there. Summit didn't even know why either.
"My name is Summit Ma'm. And if your lost, I know these tunnels well so I could...lead you out if you wish?" It was a nerve wrecking question above all else really. Summit tried to give a smile as she stood up just to her head at shoulder length. The girls bandaged ankles shifted as she winced a bit from the horrible pain. How could any wolf get used to it, it was only an illusion that she had. But, she avoided all costs of letting it take over her again, in all the screaming agony, did she hide it in a mass of darkness along her flank. And mysterious powers all itself.

There was something very different about the female that stood in front of her, Vae could not put her paw on it though. She didn't seem abnormal in the slightest, but it sent Vaerminas hissing on the inside. Perhaps she could use this female to her advantage in more than one way. She would however, allow the angel some more control until she chose to show herself. Vae allowed a dazzling smile to cross her features as her duel tails wagged in unison. "Oh, that would be delightful!" She said gently, her midnight blue optics shining brightly. She stood to her full height, and eyed the female in front of her once more. The girl shifted her weight, and as she did so a look of pain washed over her features for only a moment. If Vae had blinked she would have missed it. Confusion washed over both sides of the female, but she decided against asking what was the matter. It was in fact none of her business. Ruffling her wings slightly to release the tension in her feathers she strode toward the female once again.
Her movements were fluid enough, the muscles working in unison under her coat. She tilted her crown in the direction the tunnel lead, and said optimistically "Shall we?" Right about now, the hidden blade was in view, the straps being easily seen in her black fur. After all, a hidden blade could only be hidden if one had a place to hide it, no?
