Wander, food, possible new spell [Brutis]

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

Fett wandered around the forest silently, deep in thought. Miyuki was riding on his back of course, she usually always did. He could understand why, he had fluffy fur and he was incredibly obese, so he must have been super comfortable. He was just so large, five feet tall and so fat his belly hung below his ankles when he stood. But that was okay, he actually quite enjoyed being fat, it was a pleasure to him. An odd one, yes, but a pleasure. Some found it just downright disgusting, but not Fett. And Miyuki didn't seem to care, either, she actually enjoyed shaking Fett's colossal belly around, Fett enjoyed it too. So, anyway, he could understand why she enjoyed riding on his back. But, anyway, Fett was quietly walking around the forest. He'd grown quite fond of this place, it relaxed him and gave him a pretty decent spot to practice his spells. There was one he really wanted to try, well actually he hadn't exactly invented it yet but he had the general idea in his head. But the problem was he couldn't try it, it was much too dangerous. So he sighed and walked, searching for maybe a meal to eat or something of that sort. On his head was perched his traveling companion, Cooper. Cooper was a hawk, Fett and Miyuki had only just recently met Cooper but they became friends quickly. So now Cooper traveled with Fett and Miyuki. It was a tad odd, Fett supposed, Cooper was a hawk after all and Fett ate hawks. But, Fett had taken a liking to this particular hawk. So, the three of them wandered. Fett, Miyuki, and Cooper...

[BRUTIS]

Wandering around aimlessly like Fett, however, wasn't Brutis' style. He plopped down in the bushes, dead tired from all the work he'd been doing over the past few days. He wanted time away from his pack mates. Well, away from everyone, really, but he knew that wouldn't happen. He heard something coming toward him and reluctantly stood to meet this...thing.

Actually, there were a few things to meet. A tall, fat wolf, with another wolf on his back, and a hawk on his head. Brutis wasn't exactly feeling social, so he gave the tall wolf a wide berth and just waited tensely for something to happen. After having nearly gotten killed by a new acquaintance of his, he didn't exactly want to meet or talk to strangers.

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

Fett stopped and sniffed the air. Ah, another wolf! Well, meeting someone else might seem fun. But he was just terribly shy, mostly because he was afraid of being made fun of for his monstrous belly. But then again, with both Miyuki and Cooper there with him... He gave a little nervous sigh and decided to approach this wolf. So he approached, carefully, and when he was a respectable distance he dipped his head very politely and said: "H-Hello, my name is Fett, a-and these are my friends Miyuki and Cooper..."
Miyuki wasted no time sliding off Fett's back and greeting the stranger, she was quite bubbly unlike Fett. "Hello."
Cooper, on the other hand, was an incredibly cowardly hawk. He retreated to Fett's back and hid in Fett's fur.
Fett sat down, forcing Cooper to get on his shoulder. Fett cleared his throat and spoke again. "Uh, w-what brings you around here?"

[BRUTIS]

"Greetings, Milords and Milady," Brutis said calmly, falling into a respectful half-bow at each of the three. He may not have been willing to talk to these strangers, but he was still courteous. After all, it's how he was raised to behave. So, he restrained his annoyance and kept a calm composure. "I came here to rest. What about you and your companions?" Maybe he wants to gorge himself more...I hope he's not a cannibal.

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

"Uh," Fett responded, lowering his head just slightly. "W-We were just, uh, wandering. I-I like this place, it's peaceful, a-and..." he put a paw on his stomach and very quietly finished: "and there's lots of food..." He was slightly surprised at how polite the wolf was. Normally, new wolves he met immediately made fun of his weight and his stutter. Of course he only stuttered when he was nervous, it was just how he was, his shyness caused it all. He never stuttered around Miyuki or Cooper, at least when they were alone.
"I'm Miyuki," Miyuki said, chiming in. She rested her head on Fett's belly. "This is Fett." She motioned with her head to Fett's shoulder, then laid it on Fett's stomach again. "That's Cooper." Her friendly demeanor was immediately apparent in her voice. She was just so simple and kind, she never said anything cruel and hardly ever had any grumpy moods.
"W-What's your name?" Fett asked. Even though this wolf seemed polite and kind so far, he wasn't sure he should mention his thoughts of a new spell. He especially thought he shouldn't because of how the spell worked, or how he was thinking it would. He hadn't even mentioned it to Miyuki or Cooper yet!

[BRUTIS]

"There is, indeed, lots of food here. Not only is this place beautiful, it is a good location to hone one's abilities," Brutis said. He then acknowledged Miyuki. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Milady Miyuki, Milord Cooper, and Milord Fett." He looked to Fett. "My name is Brutis."

Well, at least these guys seem nice enough. I don't get the impression they'll attack me, anyway. Talking to them may not be so bad. Even though he'd prefer to take a quick nap than chat with them, Brutis felt a bit more relaxed.

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

"You don't have to call us 'Milord' or 'Milady'." Fett smiled. "We're just loners, no one important... Definitely not kings or queens or anything." He shrugged. "I-I doubt anyone'd respect me as a leader..." He lowered his head a bit, feeling a bit ashamed. He tried to clear his throat and speak again. "Uh, a-anyway, y-yeah I love this place. G-Great place for a fat guy like me to, uh, g-gorge..."
"Fett eats a lot." Miyuki smiled. "But that's okay, I like his big belly."
Cooper squaked. "Such a fatty..."
Fett blushed a bit. That was just how Cooper was. And yet, despite some cruel words, Cooper proved to be a good friend. Maybe he just felt insecure...
"A-Anyway." Fett said again. "A good place to hone skills? Like, uh, s-spells, right?" He cleared his throat again and muttered: "Maybe I could..."

[BRUTIS]

"I address everyone formally. It's my way of being polite. Besides, you may be loners, but that doesn't mean you aren't important," Brutis said calmly. "I imagine it would be a great place to gorge yourself. Just so long as you leave some food for the rest of us." He chuckled to show he was just kidding before continuing, "And yes, like spells. It has come to my attention that I should further hone mine as soon as I can."

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

Fett smiled and lowered his head, chuckling a bit. He was glad Brutis was showing he was kidding, and he was glad Brutis was so friendly. He raised his head, still smiling. "Yeah, I intend to gorge myself a bit here... But don't worry, I'll leave food for everyone else."
"Fatty fatty fatty..." Cooper said again. "You should diet."
Fett cringed slightly. He hoped Cooper didn't start insulting Brutis that way. Cooper, such a cowardly hawk, yet sometimes very bold in his rude jokes. Perhaps he knew Fett wouldn't retaliate, that was why he did it?
"Anyway..." Fett said again. "I also wanted to hone some skills. Honestly, there's uh... I-I was... I was thinking of a new s-spell, I-I..." He stopped there. What was he thinking? As soon as anyone heard of what he was hoping to accomplish, they would run away in fear. But it was too late now, he'd already started to spill the beans.

[BRUTIS]

"Now, now, Milord Cooper, you don't want to upset Milord Fett. A general rule of thumb is not to upset anyone whose paw is bigger than your head," Brutis said with a slight chuckle. "You were thinking of a new spell, huh? Interesting. What is it?" Judging by how nervous Fett looked, it was pretty clear he didn't really want to tell the wolf, but since he'd already begun the thought, anyway, Brutis thought it'd be best for Fett to spill the beans now, anyway.

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

"Oh gosh..." Fett said, starting to breath a bit harder and pant in nervousness. As soon as he spoke what he was thinking, he knew everyone would run away or kill him. But what else could he do? He could not ignore Brutis! Brutis seemed nice enough, but even the nicest of creatures would hate what Fett was about to say, or so Fett thought. But it was too late. He'd been so eager to make a friend he'd ruined it before it'd even started. He continued to pant, but he spoke and spilled the beans. "I-It's odd and I... W-Well I'm a water wolf, so it kinda involves liquid, but also my, uh, m-my stomach, I-I mean... Gosh... B-Basically I'd eat whatever it is whole, just swallow him or her right down, a-and keep them locked inside my belly as a prisoner, i-it involves using the juices and acid in my stomach to keep them alive and unharmed..." Fett paused, freaking out in his mind. Then he continued. "B-But I'd have to test it, a-and like I said it's odd a-and... Oh gosh..." Fett stood and took a few steps back, his head very low and his ears flat and his tail tucked. "Don't kill me don't kill me don't kill me..."

[BRUTIS]

Brutis' initial reaction to Fett's spell? Shock and revulsion, of course. Fortunately, he was still able to keep a tight lid on his emotions, so not even the slightest hint of either would appear to cross his features. But, he was silent for a long amount of time as he struggled to keep calm.

The second reaction? Fear. Primal fear. He wanted to run away, far away from Fett, but he managed to remain still. His face scrunched up as he fought for control, which he won only barely.

The third reaction? The urge to attack. He wanted desperately to make sure no one could fall victim to Fett's spell. Eat them and make them prisoner? The spell couldn't work, and even if it could, even thinking about how to test it made Brutis cringe inwardly. And what if that huge wolf was thinking of making Brutis his test subject? Wouldn't it be better to kill Fett before he killed him? It was only because of Fett's submissive stance and his plea that Brutis was able to stop himself from attacking.

Finally, Brutis manage to conquer all his reactions and think through what he was to do. I'm a general, a beta. I've had to deal with scarier. This is just a wolf trying to figure out a new spell. It shouldn't evoke such foolish reactions within me. He stood completely still as he mulled the information over.

After what seemed like an eternity to him, he finally said, "How do you plan on testing such a spell? I hope you weren't planning on using me as a test subject." He smiled very slightly, though it looked really weak. "I make a terrible prisoner."

[FETT AND MIYUKI]

Fett shook his head rapidly and hung his head down as low as it would go. "N-No I wouldn't use you or anyone else I..." He fell down so he lay on his belly and covered his eyes with his paws, and his body started to shake as he started to cry. He didn't want to look at anyone and see the hate in their eyes. That was the only reaction one could have after hearing what Fett had just said, right? A hate for Fett. Even Fett hated Fett for every thought that ran through his head, Fett hated Fett for even thinking of such an outlandish and sick spell. He was barely able to speak through his sobs as his tears began to soak the ground around him, he remained on his belly and kept his face covered by his paws in fear and shame. "I wouldn't use anyone, n-never, no... Never unless they specifically asked me to, a-and even then I don't think I'd even have the courage..."
